With the thousands of troops returning to Joint Base Lewis-McChord from Iraq and Afghanistan now underway, it is no surprise our Spring Welcome Guide will be one of our largest ever. We are publishing the guide in next Thursday's paper. We will have a Welcome Home Strykers Guide in June and our Summer Welcome Guide in August (which also coincides with summer rotation - the moving of military families. Our troops are starting their return to Joint Base Lewis-McChord. This is a big year with over 18,000 troops coming home. The first 2,000 have been making that return to JBLM this month and last.
