We are 16 days away from launching South Sound Savings. Kudos to our Sales Staff (Tony, Wanda, Tabitha & Chrystal), and to Lisa Lemmer for getting this site ready to go. Our site is active, however we have only posted two coupons as examples. On Nov. 2, the full site with many more savings will be READY!! Also, follow us at www.shop-tacoma-olympia.com as we expand our shopping news and announcements. Boxes EVERYWHERE 10/13/2009
You should see our lobby! We have US Postal mailing boxes everywhere – all for our Children's Deployment Fair coming Nov. 7 (see flier here). One thousand postal boxes are crammed upstairs and downstairs in our building – so we can send pictures with Santa Claus and care packages to our troops deployed overseas. Yesterday, Mac McDaniel from the USO delivered 14 more boxes - crammed with paperbacks, DVDs and CDs for the fair as well - all donated by the Tacoma Library. If you visit us this week, please excuse our mess :-) What an honor 10/08/2009
Nice Job Chrystal 10/05/2009
The Weekly Volcano helped the Tacoma Community House add an extra 100 participants (over last year's event) to it's Wine and Antiques fundraiser Saturday night at the Tacoma Glass Museum. The Volcano sponsored the event with free advertising both in print and online. The sponsor program was completely arranged by Chrystal Morisette from our office. Speaking of Chrystal, she was also recently inducted onto the Go Local of Tacoma board as marketing chair. Go Local looks to network locally owned businesses in the greater Tacoma area to promote and support their business efforts. Swarner Communications is a proud member of Go Local.
