It's here - the Weekly Volcano officially launched the new Weekly Volcano Happy Hour App last week to great applause.  This system is really cool - you download it to your phone, and no matter the time or day, it tells you where happy hours are going on in the South Sound at that moment.  PLUS, when you travel, it shows you the happy hours from those towns too.  You can get the app HERE.  CHEERS!

It's a big year for the Capt. Meriwether Lewis Chapter of the Association of the United States Army, and as well as for Swarner Communications.  In the upcoming awards for AUSA's 6th Region, which covers AUSA chapters in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Nevada and North and Central California, the JBLM chapter took nine awards, two of which go to our organization.

Ken Swarner, co-owner, will receive the 2011 President's Medal, while The Ranger newspaper will be recognized for the 6th Region Public Service award.

Swarner Commuications has been a member of AUSA for nearly 30 years.  Tom Swarner, past owner now retired, was a two-time president of the JBLM Chapter.  Currently three Swarner staff hold positions in various sub-chapters, plus Ken Swarner is currently the Sub-Chapter President for DuPont.

Read more about the 6th Region awards, plus see the other seven winners from JBLM HERE.

On April 1, we begin a new era in media and marketing at Swarner Communications & PR.  We are unveiling our new Star Marketing Program — an offer that combines all of our traditions in print and networking with our advances in electronic publishing and social media - one package, one price, and no hassles!

For years we have reached our readers through a robust system of media and marketing, and now that exact program is available to our clients looking to capture a significant piece of the massive military market in the South Puget Sound area.  Thirty percent of paychecks come from Joint Base Lewis McChord.

The Star Marketing Program is affordable.  It's a one monthly price for 14 strategies (higher packages receive 19 strategies and more of everything).  SEE THE RATES HERE

We are thrilled and proud of the Star Marketing Program.  It's our opportunity to give the business community access to all that we have worked tirelessly to build.
